| Description | I installed the same version of SpeedFan (4.34) on WinXP SP3 (x86) and Vista Ultimate SP1 (x64) In WinXP i can see Video temp control (GeForce 8800 GTX) and can use event with it. But in Vista i can see only CPU, MB and HDD sensor and no Video. Very useful utility - it's the only way i found to turn off computer when GPU overheat (I have watercooling system with video card - and stopping pump can result in fire) | ||||

Have you tried running Speedfan with Admin rights? |

I Have a Geforce 8600 and the same problem. (Can see temp in XP 32 Bit, but not Vista 64 Bit). (Geforce gets detected at program startup tho). Tried latest beta (4.35 beta 24 - same problem). And tried running with admin rights (rightclick -> run as administrator). Both with no luck. |

I've just upgraded to Vista Ultimate 32bit SP1 from XP prof. I'm having the same problem with my NVidia GTX 280. I had the ambient and core temps available in XP but not Vista. Have tried running in admin mode, no difference apart from the ACPI is now showing and it wasn't before (in Vista). Also worth noting that i had S.M.A.R.T. data for my Samsung SP2504C including temp in XP but not in Vista. Am running a Striker II Formaula MB, Speefan 4.35 Beta 27. |

I should be able to fix everything in SpeedFan 4.36. I should release its first beta late next week. |
