Summary0001190: When entering standby the fans are set at 100%
DescriptionThen, after recovering from standby the program retakes control of fans speed.
The option "set fans at 100% when exiting" does not affect this behaviour.
This happens with "Automatic fan speed". I have not tried without.

Fans are set to 100% entering standby or resuming from standby?
If it's when resuming from standby, it's BIOS that did it.

Only when entering standby. When resuming they return to the Speedfan setting.

I noticed that when resuming from standby Speedfan says "Resumed from suspend!"
Maybe it's just something with my power management configuration.

No, its the same Problem which I have.

Its also after startup, isn't it?
It has nothing to do with BIOS setting, because without speedfan the "Problem" doesn't exist. (100% fan speed after suspend)

@Alfredo: What about the Version with "an option to start with some specific fan speeds". I would welcome it.

I think it's normal that the when the computer starts the fans are at 100% (that's how it works for me too)
