What is exactly the problem? You do have Speedfan autostart with Windows, don't you? So it will only start once with Windows and then it controls the fans.

I'm not sure I got the real problem. Could you explain, please?

Yes Speedfan is in autostart. and when it starts first the fan is at 100% and after a while it slow down. but this is unneccesary because the temp it low enought.

put another way:
everytime i start speedfan the start percentage is 100%, independent from temperature.

What Mainboard do you have? How do you notice this behaviour? Do you have the BIOS fan control enabled or why do your fans run at lower speeds before you start Speedfan?

If properly configured, SpeedFan starts to reduce fan speeds as soon as temperatures allow that. I might add an option to start with some specific fan speeds.

Yes Alfredo this is exactly what I mean. :-)
"I might add an option to start with some specific fan speeds."
Because when you start your PC normaly the temperatures are low enought, so that 100% fan speed is unnecessary. I'm looking forward to have such an option in the next version. Apart from that: great programm!

Thx Cu
