Latest Gigabyte Boards can only control two fans - CPU and another one. Are you sure that you attached the 3pin fan to the 3pin header that can be controlled? |

Would like to add that I have GA-EP35C-DS3R and it also has the IT8718F. 3 PWN are picked up and can be set to software controlled (includes cpu) and SF works for them. When you go into SF -> configure -> advanced and select the IT87818F device have you set the PWNs to software controlled? And how many are there. Would add though that the CPU FAN will not go below 2200RPM though full is over 2700RPM so SF will work between 2200-2700. |
