The problem is here:

DWORD access took 00:00:47.235

It takes 47 seconds to read the BIOS of your video card.
I'm sending you a beta.

Unfortunately, SpeedFan has problems accessing the video card ROM the fast way. I will try to find a solution, but currently I can only think of a quick fix. I can add a command line switch that will prevent SpeedFan from reading that ROM. What do you think of such a fix?

That's OK, at least it allows the benefit of new releases as they become available.

HW Monitor appears to access the GPU temperature as does Everest without this problem, maybe there is a solution in the method these packages use.

At least I get the new Icon:-)

There is a new beta for you to try. It requires no command line switch. After the first run it should be very fast.

I think that the issue is completely fixed with the latest beta. No switch is required.
Do you agree?
