EVEREST says GA-MA69G-S3H's ISA port is $0228, not $0290. I tried modify SpeedFan 4.33 beta9 binary(exe), 0x90 at address 0x1DAC76 to 0x28, then sensors work fine(except fan RPM and speed control). But sensor chip is detected as IT8712F (actual IT8716F). Win9x:NO 64Bit:NO GiveIO:YES SpeedFan:YES I/O properly initialized Linked ISA BUS at $0228 Scanning ISA BUS at $0228... check 1 check 2 check 3 check 4 IT8712F(2) check : 90 FF 12 FF IT8712F(2) found on ISA at $228 SMART Enabled for drive 0 Found Hitachi HDT725032VLA360 (320.1GB) End of detection Loaded 0 events |

If I set PWM1 mode to software controlled under Advanced, I get the CPU fan running properly. I don't have a second fan to test PWM2. What is still not working is the RPM speed: HAving real 335 RPM (report on Gigabyte's easytune5), speedfan shows 192.857 - that's so far out of range, that I could correct it with FAN div. Any suggestions? |

Please, use the SEND REPORT facility on SpeedFan's INFO tab and include there your email address. Then send me a reminder at alfredo [at] almico.com. In report notes try to include the real fan speeds as a reference. |

Hi Alfredo, I have now attached a second fan, but couldn't control it. CPU fan is working properly. I s there any chance to enable also fan-control for the second fan? Thanks upfront for your support. Cheers Juergen |

Hi Alfredo - it seems that Speedfan is still playing up on this board. It still recognises my board as having the IT8712F sensor, not the IT8716F. If I load one of the config profiles, it comes up saying it finds the IT8716F, it then detects the IT8712F and uses these sensors instead. Speedfan can't raise the CPU fan above 760 RPM (max is 1900 RPM) but it can adjust the speed between 300 and 760 RPM. Any thoughts on this issue? Cheers, Rafe |
