Summary0000908: Hysteresis of Liquid Cooled Systems Adversely Affecting Fan Speed Control
DescriptionWith a small/med liquid cooled system the total volume of liquid has a high hysteresis. Coupled with large noisy radiator fans, when speedfan increases the PWM percentage it seems to expect an immediate response in temperature, while acceptable for air cooled systems, liquid cooled systems have a large delay before the newly cooled coolant reaches the component that is being monitored. The volume of coolant, system structure, and other variables can change the hysteresis of the system drastically.
Steps To ReproduceConstruct a system with a large temperature hysteresis.
Additional InformationConsider adding a hysteresis delay that is customizable, as the type and size of system will affect the value.

Have you tried lowering the Delta value for fan speeds? (Configure > options)
