| Description | Speedfan v4.31 has in the advanced tab, when you click on your sensor name, a "FAN1 divisor" as well as lower down in the list of options that can be changed a "FAN1 div". Speedfan v4.32 seems to have dropped the first "FAN1 divisor". I have an IT8712F sensor and for working with Nexus 120mm fans it's best to set the "FAN1 divisor" to 32. With that it will read fan speeds down to below 500rpm. In v4.32 "FAN1 div" can be used but it must be set to 8 to get correct readings with the Nexus 120mm fan. However, I lose the ability to read low speeds and the speed reading drops to 0 if go below 500 rpm even though I can see the fan still spinning. A zero reading can be somewhat alarming, so it is very misleading. Please bring back "FANx divisor" or is there an equivalent setting somewhere else? | ||||

Motherboard in use is an Asus A8N-SLI Premium. Speedfan v4.32 was downloaded May 4, 2007 9:30 pm EST - not sure of the release number on that. |

Same problem for me and my motherboard is near the same: A8N-SLI-Deluxe. |

Same problem (Worked fine in 4.31). I also have a A8N-SLI_Deluxe. |

Similar problem here - my 12cm fans read as 675000rpm at 100% whereas they are actually doing maybe 1200rpm! 675000/1200 means I need a divisor of 562.5 but the max allowable is 20 and I get a <UNDEFINED> if I manually hack the cfg file. Mobo: Gigabyte GA-965P-S3, Speedfan 4.32 |
