Summary | 0000856: P5B (non-deluxe), CPU 100% fan control is only 2000 RPM?
Description | I've recently put this build together (P5B (non deluxe) E6300, 2GB DDR2 667, X1800XT. However, using the stock cooler on the 6300 and after not overclockering whatsoever, it idles at temperatures of 44-50C. Surely this cant be right? I've re-seated and applied new thermal place and it made absolutely no difference. Now when I use Speedfan to adjust the speeds, at 100% the spu fan only spins at 2000 rpm. Am I missing something in the bios or speedfan settings?
