Summary | 0000824: Fan speed not changable
Description | The fan on my new Toshiba M400-S5032 can't be controlled by your program. The fan is quite loud even when the CPU temp is low. I've sent you a report from within your program which hopefully you'll find useful. Based on some googling, it would appear that I'm not the only one who has encountered this problem. Apparently, on one occasion, Toshiba distributed a special BIOS which changed the fan settings, but the latest BIOS is bad again. I'd be happy to help fix this in any way that I can. I am a retired C programmer, so perhaps I can help poke around a little for you. Thanks.
