Summary | 0000770: PLL and thermal probe support request; new CPU feature request
Description | Hi there. I've been using Speedfan for quite some time now (since 4.24 at least, if memory serves me right). I've always loved it with my P4C800-E Deluxe and P4P800-VM. With my new rig, however, I felt some things are missing, and I'd like to know if there is something you can do about it. 1) With my P4C and P4P, clock control was available. With the P5B Deluxe, it isn't. Can you add support for it, please? It would be nice to underclock my E6400 (I can't find ANY software to do that with the P5B Deluxe on XP x64, and dynamic OC is a concept noone other than Almico seems to grasp...). 2) I'd like temperature readings from my Gigabyte X1950Pro card. It seems there is no software available yet that can do that for every X1950Pro except the Asus card... 3) Would it be possible to add C1E/EIST and C&Q support to the software? At least C1E and EIST are CPU features, not dependent on other hardware (I think). It could also be a way to drop the CPU temperatures without any extra noise from the fans... Thank you very much for your time, and keep up the great work. Cheers. Miguel P.S.: I'm available for beta testing, if needed be. I've been using an external fan controller for some time now, but I can test everything else (temp and voltage readings, PLL support, etc)

Reminder sent to: alfredo Hello again. I was just wondering if at least any kind of Clock Control for newer mobos may be expected. That way I can at least wait for it. It would be VERY nice to have it. Keep it up, Alfredo, SpeedFan is great. Cheers. Miguel |
