Summary0000691: remote control does not work when speedfan is active !
Descriptionhello i`m using aopen i975XaYDG
and have a remote control for controlling some functions on the motherboard.
since i`ve installed speedfan it does not work anymore.
when i turn speedfan off the remote works.

is it possible to fix this ..?
eg so that other programs can also connect to mb features when speedfan is running.

thx

with this remote it`s possible to control some functions like shutdown, start media player ect. and also controll the fsb in 1mhz steps up and down.

maybe there will the same problem with speedfan & asus p5w dh deluxe
and the remote from asus ...

Try to run SpeedFan with /NOSUPERIO command line switch. Does this fix the issue?
Otherwise try with /NOSMBSCAN and let me know.

Do you mean that the remote control works again if you CLOSE SpeedFan?
I mean: do you think that if SpeedFan ever started since last reboot then the remote control is not going to work or that the remote control doesn't work only while SpeedFan is running?
