Description | The 3.3V line is measured wrong since all versions of SF i've used, the readout is way to low. I always shows around 0.53V. EVEREST reports the proper value of 3.42V in my case | ||||

SpeedFan strictly adheres to datasheets. If you see a wrong voltage reporting this usually means that the manufacturer chose not to use the standard circuitry. When the circuitry is not standard we can only guess which one should be the formula to be used to compute the voltage. Currently I prefer not to show guessed values. The values reported by any other software are reliable only if the manufacturer gave it the proper formula or if the programmer fully reverse engineered the circuitry. Any other way would be an approximated value based, at best, on some tests with a voltmeter. Anyway: I'm considering a way to let users enter any kind of formula (at their own discreetion). Unfortunately, a simple offset and a simple multipliers won't be enough. This makes things worse. |

Alfredo, please let users enter a formula to calculate voltages that are connected to different inputs or use different resistors than in the datasheet. So I could use the values found with ohm- and voltmeter on the pcb. Only simple math (add, sub, mul, div) is necessary for the algotithm. Thank you. |

Adding a full formula evaluator is not an easy task, but I think it would be the only way. I will try to find some code. |

Just as a reminder. The inital problem ist still there with V4.32. Everest shows the proper value (3.42V) while Sandra has the same "problem" as SpeedFan and shows only 0.53V. Cheers - Manfred |
