Summary | 0000535: Readings of CPU temp when idle lowers about 8 degrees Celsius when SpeedFan activates
Description | When i use other tools aka Asus Probe, Everest, Bios,... to monitor temperatures of Barton 2600+ @ 3200+ my idle temps are 43-44 degrees, as long I start SpeedFan they gradually fall to 36-37. I would like to know why this happens, because I dont use Clock Control, so the clocks always stay the same. Is there a connection to a Halt detect option. Currently it set to OFF. Has anyone else seen idle temperatures drop when using Speedfan. My mobo is ASUS a7n8x-e deluxe.
