Summary | 0000532: Fan Accelerates to Maximum Speed
Description | When I run SpeedFan, it properly displays fan information. However, when I exit (close) SpeedFan, the main fan on my PC accelerates to maximum speed and remains in that state until I restart the PC. Using the /NOSUPERIO command line parameter corrects the problem; however, it also prevents SpeedFan from displaying any information about the fans. Is there a way to allow SpeedFan to observe (but not alter) the fan speeds? Thank you for your assistance.
