Create a short cut. You do this by selecting the speedfan.exe file (typically at C:\Program Files\SpeedFan\speedfan.exe), doing a right-mouse-click, and select "copy". Next on your desktop, right-mouse-click and select "paste short cut". Right-mouse-click on the new short cut you just made on your desktop, and select "Properties". You should see a text box with a label target and the contents of "C:\Program Files\SpeedFan\speedfan.exe". Edit/change this to read "C:\Program Files\SpeedFan\speedfan.exe /NOSMBSCAN". Click on the "OK" button at the bottom. Now, to start Speedfan, just click on this new shortcut. BTW, you can drag/drop or copy/paste this shortcut somewhere else, anywhere else, you like, possibly into your Start/Programs/Startup ?? |
