Summary0000364: On Asus A7N8X-XE speedfan cannot change fan speeds.
DescriptionDetection goes fine, except for taking more than five minutes to scan all the
SMBus devices. Altough the W83627HF is used, a good chipset i hear, i cannot change fans speeds...
It happens every time, i've tried to change some settings in Advanced but no effect ( PWM reverse logic, PWMoutclock to 46 kHz)
I've used the /NOSMBSCAN option to get rid of the long scanning of the SMbus.
The A7N8X-XE has the nforce 2 ultra 400 chipset, which is reported to be supported by Speedfan, but still it won't go...
Steps To ReproduceIt's reproducable everytime
Additional InformationI've tried to sent a report but after building the report (10 min) i press send and Speedfan goes to 100% cpu and i don't know if it sent the email.
If you don't have the report from me (enveee [at] hot mail [dot] com) just ask me and i will try to get it to you in another way.

It looks like Asus didn't include this feature on your motherboard :-(

How can this not be an included feature if the motherboard has got an W83627HF and an nForce 2 ultra 400 which both are noted to be supported by Speedfan?
