| Description | I have a msi board with a fresh install of xp and speed fan. speed fan fails to initilize always freezing up on scanning hard drives. i have a 2 hard drives mirrored is there any issues with speed fan and raided drives? | ||||

Several HD controller do have faulty drivers. Silicon Image and nForce4, for example. It's a driver issue on their side. If they didn't fix this issue in their driver, simply start SpeedFan with the following command line switch: /NOSMARTSCAN |

I assume you either fixed it with new drivers or with the command line switch. |
