Description | My chipsetfan is running over 8000 rpm, and can't change it.it finds 3 fans, but only CPU fan is changeable. I have also chipset-, chassis-, and GPU-fan in the cabinet. Not all manufacturers add support for fan speed changing. Enter CONFIGURE / ADVANCED and have a look at the help file. You might ask Asus for a final word. |

Sorry but my problem with the Premium version is not really the same. The built in speed control feature of the MB works fine to control the CPU fan. But if I disable it and then try to use Speedfan to contol the CPU fan it dosn't work. So ALL fans are not controlable including the CPU fan on the Premium version. I have another ASUS MB P4P800 and the CPU fan can be controlled by speenfan once the builtin speed control is disabled in the bios. |

Did you try to enter CONFIGURE / ADVANCED? Usually, there you can find a setting that will override any setting applied in BIOS. |

Ahhh thanks very much Alfredo, I changed the PWM 1,2,3 to software and now it works. I can control both my CPU amd case fans. Case closed. |
