| Additional Information | SpeedFan version i actualy 4.25, but that version can not be choosen in the dropdown above. The notebook contains an Intel Pentium 4 630 3GHz (2 MB L2 cache), wich support "Hyper-Threading teknology", "Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology" and "Execute Disable Bit funktion" This : Win9x:NO 64Bit:NO GiveIO:YES SpeedFan:YES I/O properly initialized Linked ISA BUS at $0290 Linked Intel 82801FB ICH6 SMBUS at $3C20 Scanning ISA BUS at $0290... SuperIO Chip=NS PC87591 (PLEASE REPORT) Scanning Intel SMBus at $3C20... SMART Enabled for drive 0 Found ST9100822A (100,0GB) Found ACPI temperature (51,0C) End of detection Error loading event --> CfgVersion=01.0001 EventsVersion=01.0001 Loaded 0 events ---------- is what SpeedFan reports on startup, in the little box on the Readings tab | ||||

Just tried to install 4.30, with no change in functionality :-( I really hope SpeedFAN will support my computer - lowering the fanspeed in idle mode would be SO apriciated by me and my family ;-) Here are what SpeedFAN now reports in front page Win9x:NO 64Bit:NO GiveIO:YES SpeedFan:YES I/O properly initialized Linked ISA BUS at $0290 Linked Intel 82801FB ICH6 SMBUS at $3C20 Scanning ISA BUS at $0290...
