| Description | Speedfan opens up, scans smb and the like, freezes for 30 seconds, unfreezes and reports "access violation at address 00000000. Read of Address 00000000." This prevents it from loading sensors, fan controls, hard drives SMART data,and other stuff. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1.Install windows 2000 (sp4 in my case, can't rule out other versions don't work} on ANY computer. 2.Install Speedfan (4.51 or 4.52, perhaps earlier versions as well.) 3.Open Speedfan. 4.Wait. 5.Access Violation. | ||||
| Additional Information | /Nosmbscan command line option makes no difference. Speedfan worked fine on one of the computers when it had windows XP | ||||
