Summary | 0002568: Error message on launch
Description | Every time I launch SpeedFan, prior to the interface appearing, I receive this error message: "The procedure entry point DHparams_dup could not be located in the dynamic link library D:\..\..\..\ssleay32.dll. [OK]" Clicking "OK" launches the app, without incident. Running Sysinternals Process Monitor as SpeedFan launches, I can see that speedfan.exe is querying the system PATH for ssleay32.dll and libeay32.dll. In my case, I have instances of these libraries in my PATH which are tied to some system utilities (GOW and ffmpeg). If I rename the file listed in the above error message, SpeedFan launches without an error message. This of course has a negative impact on the system utilities which depend on it.
Steps To Reproduce | 1. On a Windows PC, extract GOW: https://github.com/bmatzelle/gow/wiki 2. Add <gow>/bin to system PATH 3. Launch SpeedFan
