Summary | 0002519: Event cannot run a shortcut as minimized
Description | When I set a file shortcut as an event executable, Speedfan runs it in plain window even if this shortcut is set to run as minimized. In short, Speedfan forces plain display of the executable while it should let it display by default.
Steps To Reproduce | . Create a file shortcut "C:\temp\C.LNK" . Fill its property with an executable command line as "C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe" /s a1841308-3541-4fab-bc81-f71556f20b4a . Select "Run as minimized" . Validate . Open Speedfan's UI, select tab Events . Add an Event: . If Core 0 < 50 . For 1 time . Allow every 10 seconds . Then Execute "C:\temp\C.LNK" . Validate then wait for the next automatic execution. You will see a console window appear for a short time.
Additional Information | I suspect a command line of this kind: ShellExecute(....., SW_SHOWNORMAL); while SW_SHOWDEFAULT may be used.
