Summary | 0000244: IDE drive in a Firewire box can not be queried
Description | I have a 120GB Seagate drive in a Firewire box with the Oxford 911 chipset. Is it possible to read the SMART info (specifically temperature) from this?
Steps To Reproduce | Close Speedfan (or leave it running) Power on the firewire drive. Open Speedfan Click on the Smart tab Can't select the 2nd drive, just the first drive
Additional Information | The Seagate 120GB drive in the Firewire box is the same as 2 others I have that have the temp data available via Speedfan, if connected to the IDE bus.
