Summary | 0002327: Nuvoton NCT6791D / Asus Z87-Plus incorrect fan mapping
Description | First my setup: CF-V12HP on CPU_FAN FAN1 on CHA_FAN1 Corsair H60 on CHA_FAN2 FAN2 on CHA_FAN3 FAN3 on CHA_FAN4 With everything on 100% this is what Speedfan shows: http://i.imgur.com/pZM2lu4.png Things to note: SYSFAN is showing CPU_FAN rpm CPUFAN is showing CHA_FAN2 rpm AUXFAN0 is showing CHA_FAN3 rpm AUXFAN1 is showing CHA_FAN4 rpm AUXFAN2 is always 0, CHA_FAN1 rpm is not shown. Then when we try to adjust the controls...: SYS controls CHA_FAN1 CPU actually controls CPU AUX controls CHA_FAN2(H60) AUX1 controls CHA_FAN3 AUX2 controls CHA_FAN4 Whats broke: CHA_FAN1 fan speed is not reported anywhere, but is controlled by setting Sys fan speed CPUFAN is reporting the value for CHA_FAN2(H60) instead of CPU_FAN SYSFAN is reporting the value for CPU_FAN instead of anything else? AUXTIN1 value fluctuates wildly between -128 and 128
