I was able to fix my -999 temp problem by doing the following: 1. Run DDU to install the current ATI driver: http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/ (click the button where it says to reboot to safe mode then clean). 2. Install the latest ATI beta driver for your card (mine was Catalyst 14.3 Beta V1.0 March 12, 2014). 3. Fire up speedfan. If it says -999 for the temperature hit ctrl-alt-del and bring up task manager, kill the speedfan.exe process, run speedfan again and the temperature should be displayed correctly! -Jamie M. |
