| Description | I have had each of the following occur once recently upon starting SpeedFan: 1. Screen showing desktop completely frozen instantly. 2. Completely white screen, computer would not hibernate. 3. Graphics card fan speed went to full speed (which is not even controllable from within SpeedFan), and a blank black screen I had to force a hard-shutdown each time. | ||||

Thats exact my problem. Sometimes starting speedfan causes a fully blank screen (black or white) and the PC freezes. Then i have to hardreset my PC. I found out that all people having this problem are using a nvidia gpu. http://www.bugtrack.almico.com/view.php?id=2539 |
