DescriptionHello,

there is no FAN-Detection on a ASUS Z87-Pro Motherboard. Also the CPU-Temps are wrong.

Is there any plan for support of this Motherboard ?

I am using SpeedFan for years now, and i would love to use it with my new rig!

Temp readouts OK, unable to pick up fan detection though. Worth noting that the only PWM outlet is the CPU_FAN on the motherboard itself. While the other outlets look like they're PWN due to their 4 pins, the 4th pin is actually doing nothing at all. Not sure if this affects SpeedFan's ability to detect the fans.

I'm having the same issue, no fans are detected. I sent a report through SpeedFan as well. Let me know if I can somehow be of help to solve this problem!

i have a Asus Z87-a MB. no cpu fan, no cpu temp, no mb temp are located. the openhardware and the aida64 have the same issue. cpuid hwmonitor does show the relevant information

Similar problems with the ASUS Z87 Sabertooth board I have. Perhaps even more disappointing as this board does have 4 PWM chassis fan controllers and numerous temperature sensors. I submitted a system info report.
