| Description | Hello! I'm not very pleased when I noticed that the problems with my usb 2.0 card reader which is connected to onboard usb bracket (motherboard Msi Neo2) were due to the Speedfan 4.21 program. I have already broken my warranty of my reader when I cut the card reader's wire of the usb pin 10 as many people said it is the problem :(. Finally I realized that every time Speed Fan 4.21 starts and makes the scan the card reader stops working. I have to plug ac cord out of the psu in order to make it work again; restarting the comp won't help nor anything what is able to been done in windows xp settings/drivers/usb-settings. Only ac cord plug off will stabilize the situation. I tryed 4.20 and it works fine; the scan does not crash my usb 2.0 reader. Please fix this bug. | ||||

It is the first time I hear this. I looked at the changes from version 4.20 to 4.21 and I can't find what might have caused such incompatibility. Could you, please, send me a SEND REPORT so that I can further investigate? Does the latest beta, available online, causes the same issue? |

Yes I tryed just a moment ago the latest beta and it caused the same issue. I will send you report with 4.20 now and with 4.21 and newest beta right after that. |

I guess there's not going to be a fix for this? Well I'm happy with 4.20 and will use it for years if it will continue working fine. |

Same bug with 4.22. Back to 4.20. |
