| Description | The motherboard has a total of 8 fan connectors: 2 x CPU Fan connector (4 -pin) 3 x Chassis Fan connector (4 -pin) 3 x Optional Fan connector (4 -pin) All of the fan connector speeds are detected except for the optional fans. SpeedFan reports their speeds as "0 RPM" and changing their speeds manually does not affect anything. | ||||

Same problem, there is no pwm mode entry in advanced tab for sb 7xx/8xx chip on crosshair V Z |

same problem too. MAXIMUS V FORMULA Using Speedfan 4.50stable, detected option fan(Aux2 Fan = OPT_FAN1), but reports speeds as 0RPM. not affect anything configure(Manually change,Fans,Speeds,Fan Control,Advanced...) So, OPT_FANs can only be controlled by FanXpert or bios settings now. I'll send a info report. |

Same problem here with MVF too. Using Speedfan 4.52, only OPT_FAN1 is detected as Aux2, but reads no speed and no control is available. Info report submitted. |
