Summary | 0002165: CPU shows 128c while cores show 30c-34c with NCT6776F
Description | My computer has been acting oddly (freezing up for 10-15 seconds, and then "catching up" with itself). I wanted to check the temperatures, so I set up SpeedFan. The BIOS says the CPU temp is fine (30c+) while SpeedFan shows a Flame next to CPU and 128c for the temp. The cores all show 30c-34c. I am concerned that something is seriously wrong with a temp so high, but SpeedFan is the only one reporting it so far. I'm going to try a few more programs as well.
