|0002119||SpeedFan||Fan control||public||2013-04-23 09:21||2013-04-23 09:21|
|Platform||Dell Vostro 3560||OS||MS-Windows||OS Version||Windows 7|
|Summary||0002119: Dell control works but misses Speed 3600.|
|Description||When the computer is running without SpeedFan the Fan will go to 3600 RPM. Speedfan does not allow that speed, it only allows 0, 2800, 4400.|
3600 is important as it is not so noisy on higher temperatures.
At one stage I also notices slighty but apparently controlled speed changes between 3200 and 3600. Maybe the Dell Fan can be controlled very granular.
|Steps To Reproduce||Start System. Wait for CPU Temp to reach 51, Fan should go up to 3600 (Bios A11).|
|Additional Information||Interestingly, once SpeedFan was started, the 3600 speed is lost until system reboots.|
