Description | I run Speedfan minimized to the Taskbar. Sometimes - no recognizable pattern for when - if I hover the mouse pointer over the Speedfan icon on the RIGHT HAND side of the Taskbar, Speedfan closes down. It no longer shows up in Task Manager. I have to restart Speedfan. | ||||

Forgot to mention that I am use CLASSIC SHELL to bypass the Windows 8 UI. |

This problem seems to happen after the computer has been started or restarted. After start-up, hovering mouse over the icon closes Speedfan. If I then restart Speedfan, hovering mouse over the Speedfan icon does NOT close Speedfan, and it keeps running until the computer is shut down. |

It's well known bug of Windows that tray icons of crashed/killed applications disappear only when hovered by mouse. You can try to find the process in task manager before hovering the icon. I think you won't find it. |
