Summary | 0002081: CPU fan speed popup
Description | Very annoying popup over here. Can't imagine who thought this was a good idea to implement, but whenever I stop my CPU fan, I get a popup generated by csrss.exe that tells me the following: "Your CPU fan doesn't work properly. You must turn off your system right now and check it!" Sometimes it happens randomly when the cpu fan is working fine. It *always* happens if I stop the cpu fan though.
Steps To Reproduce | Stop the CPU fan.

Maybe there is some option in BIOS. I've never seen something like that. |

I've read forum posts of this happening to other people too, on different motherboard brands. There's no option in the BIOS to disable it, and it stops when I close speedfan, even though the fans are still stopped. It's clearly a speedfan issue. |
