Summary | 0002054: Fans not detected at all
Description | Hi there, The external temp sensor is broken on this machine, so speedfan has been useful to reduce the noise it makes. I did have it running on Windows vista 32 with whatever version of speedfan I got many months ago, everything fine. Now upgraded (completely from scratch) to w7/64 and downloaded the latest speedfan. I can see the temperatures reported but there is nothing about even the existence of the fans anywhere. Tried fiddling with the config, changing it to XP SP3 compat, admin rights etc. I could play with the bios (although there isn't much in this one) just, it was fine before so I assume it is not that.
