| Description | Also, under "configure" the tabs for Temperatures, Fans, Voltages and Speeds are totally empty. Under the "Advanced" tab no sensor chip is found, just GeForce, HD1 and HD0, ACPI and INTEL CORE. | ||||

New beta works, sensor chip is identified, but fan control is not optimal. All fan speeds seem to be shown correctly, but control for SYS fan and CPU fan both influence the same chassis fan. CPU fan speed is always at about 1200 rpm. I use a Noctua NH-C12P SE14. QFan is disabled in BIOS for CPU and all chassis fans. |

Did you send me a SEND REPORT (INFO tab)? Are you using a 4-wire fan? Can QFan change fan speeds? |

Yes, I've sent the report yesterday. I'll try if QFan works when I'm back home and report back. |

NCT6779D support works fine. Asus might have connected fans differently from how the datasheet suggests. |
