| Description | For the last week or two Speedfan wil not run properly. On start up it hangs shows "failed to reset" errors in SMBUS detection. Then it stops responding or finishes starting after 10 to 15 minutes and then does random things. It will show no fans one time, then shows only a fan next or shows just HDD temp or just the GPU (ATI 4630 and/or 5570) Speedfan has never been able to show or change GPU fan speeds on this unit. But after rebooting, restarting Speedfan, changing back several versions (uninstall/install all versions, it just stopped working. This machine runs warm and I really like Speedfan to help, but I've lost hope. I see no bugs in reports that describe this type of problem, it may be the MB is going south. Any help would be appreciated. |
