Summary | 0001926: Asus Maximus Formula III - opt fans control
Description | My Asus Maximus Formula III has 6 categories of fans in the BIOS: - CPU (1 connector on the mobo) - Chassis (3 connectors but only one speed setting for all of them) - Pwr (1 connector) - OPT 1 (1 connector) - OPT 2 (1 connector) - OPT 3 (1 connector) The BIOS allows to control the speed of all of them, unfortunately SpeedFan allows only to control the first three (CPU, Chassis and PWR) using detected Winbond chip. At the other hand SpeedFan reads the speeds of all fans connected to the mobo (also the opt ones) using ATK, there are no readings comming from Winbond. Is it possible to have control of the OPT fans from SpeedFan? I have uploaded report separately.
Steps To Reproduce | Just run SpeedFan ;-)
