Summary0001812: Cannot detect drive connected to PCI Express SATA card
DescriptionI have 4 SATA drives in my system. 3 SATA drives are connected to the X48 motherboard's onboard SATA ports and they work fine. 1 SATA drive (WD2002FAEX) is connected to a SIIG SC-SAE012-S2 PCI Express SATA card (it uses the Silicon Image SiI 3132). SpeedFan detects the first 3 and displays them on the SMART tab but cannot detect the last one.

I'm attaching the SpeedFan report for this system. I see the missing drive listed in the DEBUG INFO section.

For what its worth, I've got a smallish C# .NET program I wrote that can pull the data from all 4 drives but would rather use your much nicer program. I'd be more than happy to provide the source although its just a quick hack.

By the way: did you check the actual SMART data you are getting? Might it be you are getting exactly the same output from both drives connected to the external controller?
