Summary | 0001791: Micro stuttering since latest versions in games when speedfan is running (Shift Unleashed for ex)
Description | I've upgraded from 4.41 to 4.43 and i've noticed that micro stuttering appear regularly (like every 3-5s) and ruin considerably the gameplay. It litteraly "lock" the screen for a few frames (maybe0.5s) then the game carry on until next freeze. I've tried to upgrade to 4.44b and the problem was still there. I've then gone back to 4.40 and the problem doesn't appear anymore. I've noticed new sensors appeared since last versions and they probably explain this bug. I've first thought that was a nvidia driver problem but latest 270.61 WHQL version is working perfectly when speedfan is disabled or older version is running.
Steps To Reproduce | Play a game on a system with nvidia graphic card while speedfan 4.43 at least is running and check for micro stuttering periodically. Shutdown speedfan and try again. No more stuttering.
Additional Information | The problem was spotted playing NFS Shift Unleashed 2, where micro stuttering make the driving feeling absolutely erratic and embarrassing and good trajectories impossible to follow.
