issue still exists in 4.43 Beta8 only 9 of the 10 temps speedfan detects are shown in the main window |
Do all 10 sensors return valid temperature readings or are there unused sensors as well (have a constant value like 0, 100, -8 etc.)? Could you attach a screenshot of the sensors menu? |
Yes all sensors return correct temps. Screen shot attached. Maybe the ability to re-size main window will help? |

If I remember correctly, Alfredo had a reason not to allow resizing. Let's wait for his answer. |

I was just going to file an issue in the 'feature' category for precisely this reason. The problem is that the main window cannot be resized, and there just isn't enough space in the temperatures section. In my case, I've got a quad-core processor, one SSD and two HDDs, one 'System' temperature reported from the motherboard, and now, with the additions in beta 12, four temperatures reported from the video card. Admittedly, I won't need all four Geforce temps, but I'd like to be able to monitor, say, three of them sometimes. That's currently not possible, as far as I can tell, as we're running out of space in that section. I don't see this as a major issue right now, but I'd say it's something to keep in mind for an update in the future. |

While I'm working on a new UI, you might consider using the EXOTICS tab. |
The Exotics tab is pretty good actually. Two problems I encountered with it: -It doesn't show the fan PWM percentages; I tend to look at those even more than at the fan speeds themselves. -I have some pretty long names for fans and PWM values: 'Bottom front fan' and 'CPU fan PWM 1' are two examples. These names don't fit in the boxes. I can see two options with that: either allow double-width or double-height boxes, or make the font size smaller when the text doesn't fit with the normal font size. Frankly, I'd be very happy if you solved number 1. I can obviously work around number 2 by using some shorter names, that's just cosmetic, after all. |
