DescriptionI've been happily using Speedfan 4.38 for a long time on my Windows Server 2008 32-bit OS partition. I just installed Windows Server 2008 R2 on another partition and installed SpeedFan, and suddenly my fan control no longer works.

What's odd is I'm in a read-only state on x64 now. I can view all fan speeds and all temps identically to how I can under the 32-bit OS. But I just can't change fan speeds. The OS is a plain-vanilla install, nothing fancy like virtualization installed.

I see the same result on 4.38, 4.40, and 4.41 beta, even when I copy the working 4.38 directory from my 32-bit partition and run it on my 64-bit OS.

I dual-boot and there's no hardware difference between the OS's-- only the OS is different.
Steps To ReproduceReproes every time regardless of how I try to run SpeedFan. I tried various options including:
- copying same folder from 32-bit OS to 64-bit OS (including same configs)
- creating new configss from scratch
- 4.38, 4.40, and 4.41 beta
- "run as administrator" or run as regular user

Same result every time-- I can view fine, but the fan speeds never change.
