Summary | 0001472: Fans, Voltage, Hard Drives Undetected On This Particular System
Description | No indication or ability to control fans or speeds is found, the primary purpose of installing the application. Moreover, the S.M.A.R.T. tab shows NO hard disks in the table, indicating its inability to detect these devices in this particular system. (Everest ULTIMATE manages to sense it all, but does not control fan speeds as far as I can tell.)
Steps To Reproduce | 1. open the application 2. let it finish initialization 3. In Readings tab, only thing displayed is GPU and Core 1 and Core 2 temps 4. in Charts tab, selection of Analyze control for "fan speeds" and "voltages" shows nothing in Values table
Additional Information | 1. Intel 82801HBICH8 chipset (speedfan-detected) 2. CPU core 1 and core 2 temps of 48-52C at times with a "flame" (overheated?) icon...probably questionable? 3. More interested in if hard drives are overheating...they are only 24 months old and showing signs of failure. Probably they were regularly running at 50+ degrees
