Summary0001453: IDE drives not detected after returning from hibernation
DescriptionAfter the computer is turn on from hibernation, the data for IDE drives are empty (on both tabs Readings and SMART). SATA drive seems to be OK.
Steps To ReproduceThe problem occurs every time the computer is returned from hibernation. My workaround is closing the SpeedFan application and running it again.
However, out of two computers, only one has this problem.
Additional InformationThe problem was present with previous versions of SpeedFan as well.

This is really odd. I experienced this issue on my new system for the first time in years. Restarting SpeedFan fixes it. I can't understand how it can happen because SpeedFan buffers nothing between SMART readings and it always reopens the device.
It seems that the system calls return garbage when queried.
