| Description | My new computer with Aopen i915Ga-HFS Mainboard crashes after the start of speedfan. I can only see the initialisation screen, then everything freezes, also mouse and keyboard. The i915Ga-HFS is a centrino Mainboard with Pentium M735 1,7 Ghz prozessor an Intel 915G chipset. I added a screenshot of my configuration in the attachment. IO Chip is the Winbond W83627THF which is supported by speedfan, also southbridge ICH6 should be working. The i915Ga-HFS was reviewed 2 years ago by silentpcreview who also wrote, that speedfan doesn't work:

To make sure that it is not a software problem, I installed a new clean Windows XP SP2 on my second HD, but speedfan also crashes after 2 seconds of the initialisation process.
The included Silenttek software of Aopen works fine on my computer, so I think it's a problem with speedfan.
On your configuration page I found a configuration of the Aopen i915Ga-HFS, but as I can download it only after the speedfan launch, I can't use it... |
