If SpeedFan worked fine using XP on the very same hardware, then I see no reason why it shouldn't work on Windows 7. Please, upload a SEND REPORT. Remember to RUN AS ADMIN.

Consider that on a Toshiba SpeedFan might need a specific Toshiba driver to control the fan.

Okay Running as Admin added 2 more sensors to the console,(including the hard drive), as well as SMART readings for the hard drive.
The fan control is still not showing up in SpeedFan.

The fan shows up in Windows 7 Device Manager as an ACPI Fan, so it should be controllable by SpeedFan, right?
Also, I don't recall ever having to install a driver for it in XP, nor do I recall ever seeing one in Device Manager.
Still, I suppose it is possible that Toshiba could have snuck a driver in with their Power Saver utillity.

Also, REPORT sent.

Thanks!
