DescriptionHi,

Is Speedfan able to control the GPU Fan Speed on current graphics cards like GTX260/285 HD4850/4870?

If anyone knows about such a card please let me know!

This is a fairly generic question that might remain open for ever.
Please, be more specific.
Currently, SpeedFan does not support ATI video cards and supports almost every nVidia video card, but fan speed control on each card depends on the hardware.

You should try Rivatuner. It can control fanspeeds of most Nvidia and ATI/AMD graphics card.

Ok, I just booked a Sparkle GeForce 9800 GTX+ 1024MB.
Hopefully Speedfan can control the FAN.

Thank you norman02us, if speedfan fails I will try Rivatuner. If both fail I will return the graphics card :)

I guess this can be marked a solved then.
