There is no general answer to that. It depends on the motherboard manufacturer how the chip was used. You should compare the value with readings from other programs like Everest or Hardware Monitor. You could also test it yourself. When the temp rises running Prime95, it's probably a CPU temp. If it rises when running a game, 3DMark or Furmark, then it's probably the GPU temp. If it doesn't change much and is somewhere between 35 and 55 |
