Summary0001329: Mtron SSD SMART support
DescriptionI recently purchased a MTRON MSD-SATA3525 with firmware 0.19R1H2 (SSD), and to my surprise, almost none of the smart attributes of this drive are recognized in SpeedFan, only 1 unknown attribute. Also, the online analysis stated the drive was not in the database.

There is some documentation about them, it can be found on http://mtron.net/Upload_Data/Spec/ASiC/MOBI/SATA/MSD-SATA3525_rev0.3.pdf. This document states several quite useful attributes.
Steps To ReproduceBuy a Mtron SSD, plug it in, start Speedfan, look at SMART tab.

I looked at the datasheet and saw that attribute 0xBB should mean "Total erase count". That attribute id seems to be used on several other drives that are normal hard disks. I will investigate to find a useful useage pattern.

I just reread your initial issue description ("almost none of the smart attributes of this drive are recognized in SpeedFan, only 1 unknown attribute"). Please, note that there is no missing attribute. SpeedFan is actually showing the one and only SMART attribute reported by the MTRON device. The only fix that's needed is about its naming.
