| Description | When setting SF_4.36, namely, to indicate "Enable" in the tab xAP error occurs (earlier this was not) a message: "Acess violation at address 00409FB4 in module 'speedfan.exe'. Read of address 007B1000". In so doing, using NOD32_6.0.672 Smart Securuty authorize the connection (but it seems the connection does not happen again appears the connection). After re-launching repeated the same thing, but sometimes with a different address: "Acess violation at address 00405604 in module 'speedfan.exe'. Read of address 002605E8 (008205BC, 00870588)". Sometimes, after being turned off tabs Enable a message: "Out of memory". | ||||

When I tried to send you report an error: "An EXCEPTION has been raised trying to post connection refused(Error #10061). Please repost to alfredo [at] almico.com", and I can't to send to you report. In report: "HTTP state= not connected HTTP state= dns lookup HTTP state= dns lookup done HTTP state= ready". Earlier this was not. I think this is due to antivirus_NOD32, becouse after appendix to trusted zone, I can to send to you a report. |

So I'm not the only one having the access violation issue. Alfredo, as I told in the mail, if you want to give me debugging instructions, I'll be glad to help you fixing this problem. Ciao, Sandro |

It's normal to see an error message when communications are blocked by a tool (NOD, in our case). xAP requires a special access to UDP ports and I can't be sure about how NOD interferes with this specific processing. What if you tell NOD not to block SpeedFan, restart Windows and run SpeedFan again? |

I added in the trusted zone NOD32tell NOD not to block SF) of the program speedfan.exe, and there is an opportunity to indicate the confidence of local, remote ports (so I did), but the situation has not changed, all the same error: "Acess violation at address 00405604 ..." |

What are your xAP settings for: UID HOST NAME HOST IP BROADCAST IP ? Might it be that the file containing those settings was altered? |

I use kaspersky internet security and it never affected any speedfan behaviour in its previous versions so I guess this issue it's not always antivirus/firewall related. Btw I have this error message for almost any action I try to perform in SF 4.36 final, not only those trying accessing the web. |

Options (UID, Host name, Host IP, Broadcast IP) are determined automatically when you install the "Enable" in xAP. In doing so, Host name, Host IP, Broadcast IP are correct (checked). "Might it be that the file containing those settings was altered?" - What a file? If the file(that you mean)contains these parameters NOD32, it's unlikely, as well as put a mere application and referred parameters in the so-called "trusted zone". Addresses access other programs allowed to open. I can advise noted errors such as # 10061 and others in the Help file, pointing out what they mean-sometimes useful to see in the help-files indicate possible errors. |

I unloaded NOD32 from the system and again the same mistake, I think the case itself SF_4.36Final, because the version SF_4.36b15 not noticed. |

After installing SF_4.37b3 and subsequent startup, NOD32 issued a warning: "Discovered change applications! In the process of data exchange have changed the content of Annex C: \ ... \ speedfan.exe. The content may have changed malware, trying to connect ... Recommended action: to ban "(This is understandable, as well as other fixed-modified version). ?o ban just in case, unloaded from a trusted zone NOD32 SF. When you start treatment and indicate Enable in xAP, NOD32 issues a request to add in the trusted zone, I'm add, the error that was not previously,issued. What was the problem and how do you resolve it, or remove kakoyto any code of SF? Send you a report of this beta. |

In Windows Vista Home Premium_32bit_v.6.0.6000 (Intel Core2Duo T7100, Kaspersky Internet Security_8.0.454)in version SF_4.36 such signs mistakes haven't. |

In Windows Vista Home Premium_32bit_v.6.0.6000 (Intel Core2Duo T7100, Kaspersky Internet Security_8.0.454)in version SF_4.36 just now: In fist: "Acess violation at address 523BBC73.Read of address 523BBC73". When: "Acess violation at address 00405604 in module 'speedfan.exe'. Read of address FFFFFFFD". What this adress is mean(523BBC73,00405604)?-it your marked errors? |

Install SF_4.37 in Windows Vista Home Premium_32bit_v.6.0.6000 (Intel Core2Duo T7100, Kaspersky Internet Security_8.0.506) and the error "Acess violetion..." is haven't, work normal. But during the installation SF_4.37 took place conflict with Kaspersky Internet Security_8.0.506,see question ?1312. |
